“Gardien de Lumière” (Guardian of Light) is built around the silent exchange between two mirrored figures that echo one another in perfect balance. One side reveals the Eye, inspired by ancestral symbols of protection and vigilance, quietly guarding the inner world of the home. Opposite it, a humanized Sun emanates warmth and life. By giving the celestial body a face, the artist transforms it into a conscious presence : the Sun does not simply illuminate, it gazes back. The visual connection between the iris and the solar form creates a subtle dialogue between the artwork and its observer : turning the piece into an almost living entity.

Blending references to solar mythology with emblems of abundance and prosperity, the artist imagines a contemporary talisman infused with poetry and meaning. “Gardien de Lumière” becomes a meeting point between timeless symbolism and modern sensibility, offering a sense of harmony, protection and radiance within everyday life.

Each sculpture is delivered in a custom-made box. All packaging is carefully designed and foam-lined to ensure the artwork arrives safely and securely.

Gardien de Lumière“ (Guardian of Light) is not defined by its function, but as a true narrative stele conceived to inhabit the space. In an increasingly fragmented world, the artist turns to mythology to recreate meaning, transforming clay into a vessel of universal symbols and intimate memories.

Behind the scene

This pursuit of coherence is reflected in a mixed-media approach that underscores the breadth of the artist’s practice. Acrylic, oil pastel and marker converge to articulate layered visual languages. Precise linework affirms the clarity of symbol, while softened, diffused passages introduce movement and breath. The resulting tension between definition and blur becomes a metaphor for perception itself : an attempt to reconcile fragmentation through a unified, contemplative vision.

ANTON HASLER

Anton Hasler (b. 1988, Switzerland) develops an animistic pictorial language inhabited by hybrid figures ; at once human, spectral and allegorical ; suspended within liminal terrains where dream and reality converge. His compositions unfold as symbolic ecosystems, dense with iconographic fragments and subtle citations drawn from art history, assembled through a consciously syncretic methodology.

Hasler’s practice operates at the intersection of mediums. Airbrush gradients and digital drawing converge with oil painting and processes such as digital printing, generating surfaces that oscillate between the tactile and the immaterial. This productive tension between material presence and virtual construction situates his work within a distinctly hybrid, post-digital aesthetic.

Within these oneiric landscapes, Hasler probes the condition of humanity in the Anthropocene. By dissolving stable coordinates of time and space, he constructs open narrative fields that resist linear interpretation and instead invite the projection of personal mythologies and collective imaginaries.
