To possess Chambre is to invite into one’s space a presence that celebrates the wisdom of stillness. In contrast to relentless speed, this work stands as an ode to receptivity and clarity. It reminds us that for any circulation to endure, whether biological, intellectual, or woven into the fabric of daily life, there must exist a space of pause, of rest from which continuity draws its strength.

If Axe embodies direction, Chambre is its sanctuary. With its generous and reassuring curves, this ceramic sculpture materializes a space of reception, a threshold where movement, before journeying onward, consents to settle. Its rounded silhouette, punctuated by a single circular handle, evokes an intimate and protective presence: a vessel dedicated to equilibrium.
Behind the scene
Through an interplay of deep-blue planes and contrasting textures, Eilena Braye gives form to a fundamental principle of life: the necessity of the pause. The geometric ornamentation of Chambre does more than merely dress the clay; it organizes the flux. A large white disc and expanses of azure structure the surface, visually illustrating that moment of regulation where rhythm adjusts and stabilizes. It is here that energy gathers its strength, concentrating in order to better redeploy.
MUROTOPIA – EILENA BRAYE
Eilena Braye (b. 1988, France) is a Swiss-based artist and trained pathologist whose practice bridges science and abstraction. Inspired by cell biology, histology and microscopic structures, she transforms the invisible world of medicine into vibrant, layered compositions.
Her work merges analytical precision with poetic expression, translating medical observation into a contemporary visual language. Each piece reflects the delicate balance between order and chaos, structure and fluidity, stability and transformation.
Through acrylics, mixed media and screen printing, Eilena reveals the unseen harmonies that sustain life, inviting viewers to pause, observe and connect with the hidden rhythms of the living world.
